What is a
Vision Board Workshop?

Vision Boards are a guided creative exercise that helps people get clear on their goals and turn them into a visual plan.

Why a Vision Board?

Replace uncertainty with direction

Replace uncertainty with direction

Replace uncertainty with direction

Between busy schedules and everyday demands, it’s easy to lose sight of what you want to work towards. Goals like “find a better balance” or “grow in my role” can stay in the background without becoming clear priorities.

A vision board gives people space to pause, picture what those goals mean in practice, and choose a first step they can take.

Get clear on what matters

Reflect on what’s working, what’s missing, and what you want more of. Choosing a few meaningful priorities helps you separate what you actually want from what you feel you should want. More time to focus might matter more than a bigger title.

Give each goal a first step

Choose a small, realistic action to go with each goal on your board. “Make more time for myself” could become “keep one evening a week free”. You leave with a picture of where you want to go and a clear place to start.

Find common ground with colleagues

Sharing is always optional. For those who choose to share, it’s a chance to discover shared interests, understand colleagues better, and find ways to support one another, from learning the same skill to making time for a lunchtime walk.

Online

Everyone joins live from wherever they are, ideal for remote and hybrid teams.

In-Person

We come to your office or venue and run the session in the room together.

Digital Boards

Built on a laptop or tablet in a simple browser tool. Digital boards allow more freedom and choice, with endless images, words and layouts, and they’re easy to keep as a desktop or phone background or to be printed after.

Physical Boards

Made by hand with images, words and other materials. It’s a fun, hands-on break from screens, and participants leave with a physical artifact for their desk or wall. For in-person workshops, we bring all the materials. For online workshops, we send a simple list beforehand, so everyone can make their own board at home.

Special workshop themes

Each session uses specific breathing techniques to support different physical and mental states. Sessions can stand alone or build over time.

Year starter or quarter starter

Start the period with direction instead of a long to-do list. People pick the few things that matter most, turn each into a first step, and leave with a board that keeps them in sight. Helps: people and teams starting a new year, quarter or project.

Leadership teams

Leaders rarely get time to step back together. This session gets them clear on shared direction, priorities and the decisions ahead, and shows where they already agree and where they need to talk. Helps: leadership teams setting direction together.

New joiners

New joiners get clear on what they want from their role and the months ahead, and meet colleagues in a creative, low-pressure setting. It’s a friendly start that gets conversations going early.

Team vision

Sessions are designed to build tolerance and control under mild stress. Breathing techniques may include structured breath holds or controlled stress exposure, helping people practise staying regulated when facing pressure over time. Helps: people in fast-paced, high-responsibility, or high-stakes roles.

Change and transition

When plans shift or a restructure is underway, not knowing what comes next is stressful in itself. People name what matters to them and choose one small first step, which gives them something steady to hold on to. Helps: teams going through change, a new strategy or a reorganisation.

Offsites and team events

A hands-on, creative format for a team day, offsite or kickoff. It gives people a shared activity away from the usual meeting format and starts conversations about the months ahead. Helps: organisers planning a team day, offsite or kickoff.

Employee networks and ERGs

A shared board for a community or network. Members surface what they want from the group and what they’d like to build together. Helps: ERG leads and network organisers.

Sessions work as one-offs, but are most effective as a series. Many additional themes are available, and sessions can be tailored to your team’s goals.

How this helps your team

01

Year starter or quarter starter

A fresh start for a new year, quarter or project. People get clear on what matters most for the period ahead and decide their first steps.
Helps: people and teams starting a new period, project or chapter, including new joiners and teams going through change.

02

Personal and career vision

A focus on growth, learning and where people want to go next, for example building a new skill, preparing for a role change, or creating more balance. It’s also a useful starting point for development conversations.

03

Motivation that lasts

A board stays in view long after the session. It works as a reminder of what people chose and the first step they planned, which helps them keep momentum. Helps: people who set goals but lose steam after the first few weeks.
